A masked figure in Mr. Robot season 3

Mr. Robot fans get first glimpse at Season 3

Bonsoir Elliot. The USA Network found a back door and brute forced E Corp, cracking a teaser trailer for Mr. Robot Season 3. See, we’re hip, we know 1337 h4x0rz speak (that stands for leet hacker btw). Leonard Cohen’s haunting lyrics from his song Democracy can be heard throughout the following teaser.

A teaser for the teaser (yep, that’s 2017 for you) was released on the show’s Twitter account, which hinted at the (real) teaser’s release.

If you haven’t seen the show, Elliot Alderson (Rami Malek) is the popular series’ central character. Alderson works as a security engineer during the day but moonlights as a cyber-vigilante in his free time. His fate was left uncertain at the end of the last season, which had many viewers wondering how the story would progress. It also doesn’t help Elliot is an unreliable narrator and what we’re seeing on screen may or may not be real. Then there are scenes that are obviously not real, such as Elliot meeting Alf on a multi-cam sitcom, complete with laugh track.

Bobby Cannavale (Third Watch & most recently Master of None) and Rizwan Manji (The Magicians) will be the joining the cast for the upcoming season. Deadline reported that Manji’s character will work alongside “Dom” DiPierro (Grace Gummer) for the FBI.

Mr. Robot has won several industry awards, including an Emmy in 2016 for Rami Malek’s performance.

season_3.0 will contain ten episodes and premieres on the USA Network on October 11th, 2017. As with previous seasons, New Zealanders might be able to watch it on Lightbox.
